Lore[]
"Y'know, magic isn't nearly as hard as everyone makes it out to be. A little bit of this, a bit of that, a sprinkle of aether, a dash of fire, ripe a few molecules apart and bing bang boom. Magic. And then a few minutes of waiting for everyone else to manage to catch up with me.
I think their problem is their perspective. They just look at the aether right in front of them, in their hands, and build something out of that. I see past that! The aether over here, over there, the aether that will be in t he future, the aether that was there in the past. Why limit myself? My teachers limited themselves. "Dorian, that's not how magic works," they said. Or: "Dorian, it's not worth breaking the laws of causality for a chunk of jade." Pfft. Children. Afraid of the true future of magic. I write my own rules. Just have to wait until the day everyone's playing by them." ― Dorian
Trivia[]
- According to the Kickstarter campaign post, Dorian was created in the likeness of Kevin Riley, designer of Aeon's End.[1]
