Kel is a breach mage from Outcasts.
Mage Overview[]
Kel is a mage from Azer. Mages from Azer typically have a Tether, a partner they love, fight with, and protect; Kel's Tether is Ilya. While these two mages are designed to be played together, they do not have to be (but you may be at a disadvantage). Kel is focused on gems and relics more so than Ilya. Both Kel and Ilya have copies of the starter card Entwined Amethyst
, which grants 1 charge if discarded during an ally's turn. Both mages have a secondary starter card which works with Entwined Amethyst, as it allows an ally to discard a card. Kel's version of this is Trulite of Energy
, giving extra 
for gaining gems/relics.
Kel's special ability returns up to two gems/relics played that turn to her hand, while allowing an ally to draw a card and prep a spell. Aside from Kel's open I Breach, all other breaches start in the most expensive positions, making it much harder for Kel than most mages to open all breaches.

You may spend 6 charges during your main phase to resolve the following:
- Return up to two gems or relics you played this turn to your hand. These gems or relics are retrieved from the in-play area, since gems and relics are not discarded until the draw phase.
- Any one ally draws one card.
- The same ally may prep one spell from their hand to one of their own opened or closed breaches. If they choose a closed breach, they must cast that spell during their casting phase on their next turn.

"Kel likes to think she's tough, but I know her a little better than that. Beneath that sour exterior is a soft and loving core. She cares more about Azer than any of us. She'd give her life without hesitation to defend every single villager, and I'm glad I get to be at her side making sure she doesn't have to.
