Powers are abilities nemeses play against players during the game. Powers often have a delay before activating, giving players a chance to prevent the power from actually taking effect.

Rules[]

  • If a power has an "IMMEDIATELY' effect, resolve it the moment the power enters play.
  • Every power has a 'POWER X' printed on it; when the power enters play, place X number of power tokens onto the card.
  • On every following nemesis main phase, remove 1 power token.
  • The moment a power has no power tokens, resolve the power effect (the portion following 'POWER X').
  • A player may choose to resolve the 'TO DISCARD' effect to discard the power instead, avoiding the power effect. This can only be done on that player's own Main Phase, while at least one power token remains on the power. (If there are no power tokens left then the power should have been resolved on the last nemesis turn)
  • Players may not split up the 'TO DISCARD' effect between multiple players, unless specified otherwise.
  • If multiple powers are in play at once, resolve the powers/tokens from the oldest in play to the newest in play.
